Budgie Hussain

Dr. Budgie Hussain, Director

Dr. Hussain has been involved in the education and training of a variety of healthcare practitioners in the safe and competent use of ultrasound for over 15 years. He has designed, piloted and delivered a number of innovative ultrasound courses for GPs, Urologists, A&E Clinicians, nurses and midwives.

Dr. Hussain's current research interests include the use of telemedicine in ultrasound, training and diagnosis of GPs with special interest and the impact of 4-dimensonal ultrasound intervention in the cessation of smoking in pregnancy.



Dr. Trevor Wing

Dr. Trevor Wing, Specialist in Gynaecology Ultrasound

Trevor is a recognised specialist in the natural medicine treatment of female health conditions, with particular interest in applying scientific research to medicine. Trevor runs a busy private clinic in London where he carries out research and treats a wide range of gynaecological and obstetric conditions including ovarian dysfunction, tuboperitoneal disease, uterine disease, gestational disorders, post partum disorders and menopausal syndrome.. Trevor regularly contributes to professional journals with papers on his own research and treatment approaches and is a peer reviewer for the journals "Human Fertility", "Complementary Therapies in Medicine" and "Reproductive Biomedicine Online". Trevor is Visiting Lecturer at the Centre for Ultrasound Studies in obstetrics and gynaecology Ultrasound.



Dr. Amara Sohail

Dr. Amara Sohail, Consultant Obstetrician/Gynaecologist

I was appointed as a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at North Hampshire Hospital Basingstoke in 2009. I am Lead Consultant for Obstetrics, Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit & Emergency Gynaecology, Clinical Audit and Risk Management. I am also Honorary Associate Professor at St George's Medical University Grenada. I am Student Coordinator and Examiner for the Final and third year medical students from Southampton University.I am also member of BM curriculum committee at Southampton University.

I am passionate about undergraduate as well as postgraduate teaching and training. In addition to this, working in collaboration with Royal college of Obstetrician & Gynaecologist and Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine I play active role in teaching and training of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in East Africa including including Kenya, Uganda and Zimbabwe to achieve WHO Objective to reduce maternal morbidity & mortality by three quarters by the end of 2015.



Dr. Padma Eedarapalli

Dr. Padma Eedarapalli, Consultant Obstetrician/Gynaecologist

Dr Eedarapalli studied medicine at Andhra Medical College, Andhra Pradesh, India, between 1982-1988.
Her present role is as a General Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Lead Colposcopist & RCOG Tutor for under and postgraduate training. Dr. Eedarapali has a wealth of experience in Obstetric and gynaecology Ultrasound and actively encourages relevant, focused and certified courses.



Dr. Rachana Dwived

Dr. Rachana Dwived, Consultant Obstetrician/Gynaecologist

Dr Dwivedi has a special interest in one-stop outpatient procedures, including: Gynae ultrasound, Diagnostic hysteroscopy, Minor operative procedures such as removal of polyp in an outpatient setting and Thermal ablation

She also has interest in early pregnancy complications, and is the lead for our post-menopausal bleeding service.

Dr Dwivedi works closely with Bournemouth University and is also a faculty member of the Liverpool School for Tropical Medicine, providing specialist obstetrics and gynaecology training for hospital staff in African countries.


Suman Vohra

Suman Vohra, Senior Sonographer

A senior Sonologist with a huge experience in ultrasound, who has worked in the Fetal Medicine Unit of the Royal Free Hospital in London for the past seven years. She has a master's degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Ultrasound from Bournemouth University. She also a Post graduate certification in General Ultrasound from the same University. She has been the Screening Support Sonographer for the Royal Free NHS Trust for the past three years.

She has been on the faculty of Bournemouth University since 2011, and has helped in conducting workshops for GPs, sonographers, midwives and nurses all over the UK.

Before coming to the UK, she worked as a Consultant Sonologist with special interest in fetal medicine for eleven years at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in Delhi and was an active member of the Delhi Chapter of IFUMB (Indian Federation of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology) and ISPAT (Indian Society of Prenatal Diagnosis and Therapy).


Warren Foster

Warren Foster, Consultant Sonographer

A radiographer from background warren has a sound understanding off all areas of imaging with experience in CT/MRI and angiography before training in Ultrasound. having spent the last 14 years in medical ultrasound he has cutting edge experience of general ultrasound , obstetrics, gynaecology, vascular and MSK having work both in the UK and abroad. Warren Currently managers the radiology services for Southernhealth NHS Trust and is a Consultant sonographer working in intervention and diagnostic Services.


Dr. Chyke Oheugbe

Dr. Chyke Ohuegbe, Senior Sonographer

Dr. Ohuegbe's qualifications include BSc, PgD, MSc (Med Img), MSc (MSK Uss), DIR, DMed Img (in view).

He has a wealth of experience in general, gynaecological, obstetrics, small parts ultrasonography and a specialist in musculoskeletal sonography, with a bias in sonoelastography. He is an adept researcher with special interest in sonoelastography, rheumatology, orthopaedics and sports injuries.

Dr. Sally Kidsley

Dr. Sally Kidsley, Associate Specialist Contraception and Sexual Health

Dr. Sally Kidsley is the educational and training lead for the Solent Sexual Health NHS Trust. Sally is an experienced and qualified member of the CUS teaching faculty and provides expert knowledge in teaching obstetrics and gynaecology ultrasound applications.
